A case of the new flu has been confirmed today, really close to us. I've started stocking up in case we all get sick at the same time (which has happened before and it sucked.)
In the meanwhile I continue to buy calls at every market dip. Markets like to climb on a wall of worry. Every less-than-absolutely-horrible number now is seen as a stepping stone to a quick recovery. Only thing is, we ain't ever had a quick recovery with numbers like that. But shhhhh, nobody likes to think about that right now.
I love my obsessions. They are so comforting to me.

Cause this fits.
You'll find it in the news anyway, but here it is:

I hope nobody in your family catches it. There was a death in Houston, first recorded in the US; a baby who was visiting from Mexico City.
What a weird time. I hope you don't catch it.
Thanks Mago. There was definitely a genetic factor in son's case, as we realized after the fact. Also known as the gift that keeps on giving.
Ingrid/Lynn: Thank you. I hope all my blogging buddies will stay safe too. So scary to hear about small kids dying from this.
It's in the lyrics.
I hope nobody among us catches it. A little 23 month old boy down in Texas near Mexico died from it.
Lately, its been something new. Hope you and your family is safe. :)
